Running

Endurance running is an aerobic exercise in which energy is gradually drawn from a variety of sources, from carbohydrates to fat, as the run progresses. By using supplements, we can improve performance by boosting its energetics. The basis of products administered before and during training are carbohydrates with different degrees of release, or other substances with an energising effect such as carnitine, creatine or BCAA. Ions are lost, especially in hot weather, and ionic drinks, which often contain minerals in combination with suitable carbohydrate sources, are used to replenish them. Support for regeneration is then provided mainly by products containing carbohydrates, proteins or free amino acids, possibly supplemented with vitamins and minerals, which serve to restore energy sources and support regenerative processes.
