About the author
Dita Pichler, MD, is a physician with a certificate in internal medicine and almost twenty years of experience in diabetes and obesity. She also specializes in nutritional counseling and obesity psychology. Since 2009 she has been working at the OB clinic in Prague, where she is dedicated to the complex treatment of obesity and metabolic syndrome, including indications for bariatric surgery. She is an expert guarantor of nutritional counseling, publishes in Czech professional and popular journals, is invited to radio and TV discussions on obesity. She is a member of the Czech Obesitological Society, the Czech Diabetological Society and the European Society for Sexual Medicine ESSM.
