Instant dried coconut milk is an alternative to canned coconut milk. Coconut milk is made from the fresh pulp of the coconut. In order to create the powder, maltodextrin and sodium casein (as an emulsifier - thickener) must be used.
Dried coconut milk contains 60-65% coconut oil and is therefore best dissolved in warm or hot water. Use a blender, shaker or a regular fork to blend. Mix 1-3 tablespoons of milk powder with about 200 ml of warm water to easily make milk, cream or coconut cream.
What is coconut milk powder good for?
It is suitable for making various types of porridge, for smoothies, in various drinks, puddings, creams, soups or desserts, for making mixed drinks, can be eaten directly with a spoon, for flavouring coffee, cereal or cocoa.
