About the Author

Yarkovska Helena

Mrs. Helena Jarkovská. is the founder and promoter of Czech aerobics since 1983, as well as the founder and director of the Czech School of Aerobics and the Czech School of Spinning accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic. Since 1990 she is the owner of the Fit Club H. Jarkovská in Prague 7 and specializes in aerobic forms of exercise. Theoretically and practically she constantly promotes general gymnastics.

Jarkovská Markéta

She was born on 19 November 1975. Graduated in 1996 from the Jaroslav Ježek Dance Conservatory with a specialization in modern stage dance, choreographed "Freee" at the graduation performance at the Comedy Theatre. Since 1994 she danced in the company A. Borsun in Hannover, where she also taught. In 1999 she performed at the Dance Prague festival with M. Rebcova's company. In 1994-2000 she taught at the Ánfas dance studio of M. Nesvadba and at the Dance Perfect studio of Lenka Ottová. She has choreographed commercial performances for various companies such as Zannussi, AEG, Paegas (now T-Mobile), etc. She also works as a lecturer of jazz dance and hip hop, lecturer of the Czech School of Aerobics, lecturer at congresses and seminars, trainer of European Tae-bo Basic (2002-03), trainer of European Tae-bo Advance (2003-2005). She is co-author of the book Strengthening, published in 2005 by Grada.
