100% Zinc Bisglycinate contains zinc in the highly usable chelate bond of zinc bisglycinate. It is a bisglycinate consisting of divalent zinc ions bound to two glycine molecules. The advantage of chelate-bonded minerals is that they are electrically neutral and are more easily transported, unchanged, to their destination in the body. Zinc in our product is bound to the non-essential amino acid glycine, which is normally synthesized by the body.
