Whey protein isolate WPI is a whey protein fraction subjected to micro and ultra filtration, which allows to obtain the highest degree of protein concentration in the product (more than 90%). Taurine is an amino acid - or rather, it is a derivative of an amino acid and is therefore sometimes classified as an amino acid, although it lacks a carboxyl group. A more accurate term would therefore be aminosulfonic acid. It regulates fluid levels in the muscles by "stretching" glucose and amino acids into the muscle cells. Its effect can be likened to that of insulin, i.e. it actually acts anabolically, supporting, bulking and giving strength to the muscle, but without lowering blood sugar levels. It also has an important effect in lowering lactic acid levels, which is important in athletes, during intense training or in hard working people.
