ALAVIS™ Triple Blend Extra Strong contains a combination of chondroprotective agents (glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate), MSM and Collyss and Cartidyss branded collagens.

ALAVIS™ Triple Blend Extra Strong is suitable for musculoskeletal regeneration, especially for preventive administration in foals and horses under work and sport stress.

Glucosamine sulphate and chondroitin sulphate are natural components of articular cartilage and synovial fluid. Chondroitin sulphate has a remarkable ability to bind water in the tissue. This ensures the proper function of cartilage, its strength, flexibility and resistance. The mechanism of action of both substances is common and consists in a chondroprotective (cartilage-protecting) action. The effect includes regeneration of articular cartilage and tissues, improvement of mobility, and thus has a significant positive effect on the health of the animal.

Methylsulfonylmethane - MSM - is a natural substance containing organically bound sulphur, which is involved in the process of collagen formation, strengthens ligaments and tendons, has a relaxing and regenerative effect on muscles. MSM is not only involved in reducing joint pain, but also in breaking down damaged tissue thanks to its antioxidant and detoxifying effects. MSM should also be used for pain relief in post-traumatic and post-surgical conditions, where it has also been found to improve wound healing. MSM has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, vasodilatory and anti-edematous effects. It also has applications in the relief of muscle pain, muscle spasms and also tendon pain.

COLLYSS™ - the highest quality type I collagen - is found in heavily stressed structures such as tendons and ligamentous cartilage.
