The HMB Power product is designed for gaining lean muscle mass without fat and to prevent catabolism during hard training or a bulking diet.
HMB is a substance that has long been used in bodybuilding. It is a metabolite of the amino acid leucine, one of the three branched chain amino acids known as BCAAs. A small portion of leucine in the human body is naturally converted to HMB. We get HMB in small amounts from certain foods, such as some types of fish or citrus fruits. An effective way to increase the amount of HMB in the body, and thus the synthesis of leucine from it, is to take it in the form of a dietary supplement.
The effect of taking HMB is, of course, conditioned not only by properly designed training but also by a good nutritional regime.
