About the Author
Perič Tomáš
Since 1989 he has been working at the Faculty of Television and Sport of Charles University as an assistant professor at the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology and Didactics.His work focuses on the issues of sports training of children and youth, selection of physically talented youth and physiology of physical exercises of children and youth. Since 1994 he has been a member of the Coaching and Methodological Commission of the Czech Ice Hockey Association and has been working as a youth coach in ice hockey for a long time. He works as a lecturer for training of coaches of all levels.
Březina Jan
Jan Březina In 2004 he finished his studies at the University of Economics in Prague with a focus on management and development of companies. In 2013, he founded SportAnalytik with his colleague Martin Jahoda, a company that deals with testing children's sports aptitudes, analyzing their strengths and recommending suitable sports. By 2019, 500,000 children in more than 20 countries have been through the SportAnalytik program. Since 2014, it has been working with the Czech Olympic Committee on the Sazka Olympic Multi-Sport project, which aims to bring as many children as possible into sport and show them sport as fun. His vision is to motivate children to take up sport and he believes that every child has a talent for a sport - they just need to find the right one. He has been researching children's sports for a long time and in all his activities he tries to motivate children to play sports. Based on numerous requests from parents attending SportAnalytik, he founded the Gymnathlon all-sports section in 2017, which focuses on sports training for children aged 4 to 8 combining elements of athletics, gymnastics and sports games. All in a fun way with an emphasis on the children's experience and creating a positive attachment to sport.
