Thermo-X is a caffeine complex with L-tyrosine and L-carnitine and plant extracts. In terms of amino acids, it contains L-tyrosine and the amino acid derivative L-carnitine in the form of L-carnitine L-tartart. L-Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid with an aromatic structure, which is also the nucleus of thyroid hormones and a precursor for the synthesis of several catecholamines such as L-Dopa, domapine, epinephrine, norepinephrine. L-carnitine is needed by our body to transport fatty acids, as free long-chain fatty acids need to enter the mitochondria, which is done by L-carnitine. The long-chain fatty acids that enter the body are converted into energy by, among other things, beta-oxidation.
HCA (hydroxycitric acid) is obtained from an extract of the fruit of the Garcinia Cambogia plant, a gourd-like fruit native to Southeast Asia.
Choleus Forskohlii is a plant native to India, Burma and Thailand from whose root the active ingredient forskolin is isolated.
In a daily dose:
- 600 mg L-tyrosine
- 205 mg L-carnitine
- 180 mg HCA
- 180 mg caffeine
- 11 mg forskolin
It is a dietary supplement.
