Astaxanthin is a carotenoid obtained by a natural process from the freshwater microalga Haematococcus pluvialis. It is cultured with perfectly pure water from the Himalayas, no artificial heating or lighting is used, only natural sunlight. Cultivation is carried out with respect for the environment, no chemicals or pesticides are used. This product differs significantly in quality, composition and origin from most products on the market today, where the main source of Astaxanthin is animal tissue.
