Viridian Nutrition guarantees the superior quality and purity of its products by rigorously controlling the entire production process. From seed to final product = working with local producers and growers dedicated to the highest quality. For ethical reasons, Viridian Nutrition does not use any palm oil in its products and does not test its products on animals. All product packaging is 100% organic.
ETHICAL DIETARY SUPPLEMENT
What does it even mean - an ethical dietary supplement? It means that Viridian brand supplements are made exclusively from quality ingredients and you will find absolutely no ballast additives in them. They also come from organic farming and are not tested on animals. It is also important to note that the Viridian brand is family owned, and is not part of any pharmaceutical or other corporation. Viridian prides itself on its ethical approach to customers and business partners, and always strives to make its products environmentally friendly.
All ingredients are 100% bioactive
This may sound like a given. But the truth is that many commercially available products contain largely synthetic ingredients, with a high proportion of ballast additives, stabilisers, binders and artificial sweeteners.
Supporting local growers
One of Viridian's key principles is to support local farmers and local producers of raw materials (not multinational corporations), with whom it has very fair and equitable relationships. Viridian thus guarantees the quality of its supplements by having visibility of the entire production process - literally from seed to final product, while fulfilling its philosophy of ethical vitamins.
A natural and functional form of vitamins usable by the body
Do vitamins and minerals have forms? And why shouldn't they all be equally useful to the body? That's right. We can illustrate this with iron, one of the most needed minerals. In ordinary supplements, it is found, for example, in the form of oxide. This form is of little use to the body, and the reason why it is used in ordinary supplements is again the low price. Viridian, for example, uses a direct extract from the leaves of the Murraya koenigii plant in its Liquid Iron supplement, which provides iron in a 100% natural form.
Only capsules of plant origin, no tablets
Tablets with binders are cheaper than capsules, but contain a high proportion of ballast binders and adhesives, which can make up up to 70% of the tablet. If you take dietary supplements in tablets, you can consume up to a kilogram of glues and other ballast in a year.
And beware - many capsules also contain magnesium stearate, which is added to the capsule to make it non-stick to the production line. Viridian capsules are made entirely from natural ingredients.
No GMO ingredients
Genetically modified crops are unnatural. They are created primarily to increase yield and are a product of the agrochemical industry. You will never find any GMO ingredients in Viridian products.
No irradiated ingredients
Irradiation of food is carried out by ionizing radiation (alpha, beta, gamma, x-rays,...) - that is, radioactive radiation to deactivate the enzymes and living bio-cultures contained in the food, which prolongs shelf life.
No animal ingredients
Animal ingredients are not always a bad thing, but Viridian tries to have as much of its products suitable for vegans as possible.
No artificial sweeteners
Artificial sweeteners are supposed to be a preferable alternative to sugar. However, these are substances that are unnatural for the body and the environment (artificial molecular combinations). All Viridian Nutrition products are free of artificial sweeteners.
No artificial colours or preservatives
No artificial colours, no preservatives. You will not find these or any other artificial additives in Viridian products.
No magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide or shellac
Titanium dioxide or titanium white is used as a colouring agent. You'll find it in many pharmaceutical products, common dietary supplements, industrially processed foods, on tennis courts where it forms white lines around the court, and on the Saturn V rocket where it helped as an outdoor coating. Magnesium stearate is used as a lubricant - it prevents the capsules from catching on the production line. In combination with water and soap, it forms an insoluble substance that forms, for example, the typical non-removable rings on bathtubs. Shellac is a resin secreted by the female lac worm, an insect native to India. The sheets of this resin dissolve in ethyl alcohol to form liquid shellac, which is used as a varnish and glaze. These substances are commonly used in dietary supplements, medicines and foods. They are not found in Viridian supplements.
Eco-friendly bottles
Viridian uses glass bottles made of so-called amber glass, which protect the contents from light and heat. They can also be recycled or reused. They can also be returned to our stores in exchange for a discount on your next purchase. The caps on the bottles are made of recyclable aluminium and the seal on the caps is made of cornstarch - Viridian does not use any plastic.
No palm oil
Viridian is the first brand in the world to be certified by POFCAP - The Palm Oil Free Accreditation Programme. This guarantees that the brand does not use palm oil in its products or manufacturing.
It is a dietary supplement.
